  • As a non-profit 501(c)(3), all donations made to GCR go directly toward providing no-cost counseling services to survivors of sex trafficking and to provide food, clothing, medication, and living expenses to survivors and safehomes in the local area.

 FAQs

  • Currently, we do not accept insurance directly, however, we are happy to provide you with a signed receipt of payment after the counseling session to submit to your insurance company as an insurance claim for reimbursement. Please speak directly with your insurance provider before booking a session to find out more about reimbursement claims for counseling and to confirm that you qualify.

  • Yes! Our counselors offer a free 30-minute phone consultation prior to booking a first appointment. This provides our counselors with an opportunity to address your concerns, ensure that they are the best fit for your needs, and answer any questions you may have about the counseling process.

  • Currently, we accept cash, written checks, and payments through our Square platform. When payments are taken through Square, we are able to accept credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

  • Yes! We offer reduced fee rates on a case-by-case basis according to the need. To qualify for reduced fee rates, the GCR team will meet with the client directly to discuss options and learn more about the client’s individual needs, current income status, strength of their support system, and any other relevant criteria that would help to inform our capacity to offer best practices and the most effective care.

  • Both! Currently, Samantha Stokesberry and Dr. Kyle Miller offer both in-person and virtual counseling sessions. To learn more, please fill out our information request form on our contact page!
